We create professional media content featuring student athletes. We publish story features for everyday athletes. We organize community spotlights and events. We provide free professional photos for student athletes and their families. We connect student athletes with potential sponsors.
User Responsibilities
By using our services you agree to provide accurate and truthful information when submitting forms, to obtain proper consent before submitting information about a student athlete, to use our services only for lawful purposes, to not submit false or misleading information, and to not use our services to harass or harm others.
Parent and Guardian Consent
Because The Athletic Story works with student athletes all submissions on behalf of a minor must be made by a parent or legal guardian. By submitting information about a student athlete you confirm that you are the parent or legal guardian of that athlete, that you consent to their participation in our media features, that you consent to photos and stories being published by The Athletic Story, and that you consent to receiving SMS and email communications from us.
Media and Content Rights
By submitting photos videos or stories to The Athletic Story you grant us the following rights. You grant The Athletic Story a non exclusive license to use edit and publish the submitted content. You grant us the right to feature the content on our website social media and marketing materials. You grant us the right to share the content with potential sponsors. You retain ownership of all original content you submit. You may request removal of your content at any time by contacting us.
SMS Communications Terms
By submitting your phone number through any of our forms you agree to receive SMS messages from The Athletic Story. The following terms apply to our SMS communications. Message frequency may vary. Message and Data rates may apply. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP. You may reply HELP for assistance. We do not share your phone number with third parties for marketing purposes. Opting out of SMS will not affect your ability to use our other services.
Sponsorship Terms
The Athletic Story connects student athletes with potential sponsors. The following terms apply to sponsorships. The Athletic Story does not guarantee sponsorship for any athlete. Sponsorship agreements are made directly between sponsors and The Athletic Story. Sponsor contributions directly fund free media services for student athletes. The Athletic Story reserves the right to decline any sponsorship that does not align with our mission and values.
Free Services
The Athletic Story provides free professional photos and media features to student athletes. The following terms apply to our free services. Free services are provided at the sole discretion of The Athletic Story. Availability of free services depends on sponsorship funding. The Athletic Story reserves the right to modify or discontinue free services at any time. Free services do not include unlimited sessions or content.
